Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Physician role based at the NURA center in Worli, Mumbai. The General Physician will conduct comprehensive clinical evaluations for individuals undergoing preventive screening, including history-taking, physical examinations, and interpretation of screening and imaging results. Responsibilities include explaining findings to patients, providing evidence-based medical advice, and creating personalized care or follow-up plans. The role involves collaborating with radiologists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless screening workflows and high-quality patient experience. The physician will also contribute to health education initiatives, participate in ongoing training related to AI-enabled diagnostics, and maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Strong clinical expertise in Medicine and Primary Care, with the ability to manage a wide range of general health concerns and screening outcomes.
- Background in Family Medicine and experience providing holistic, continuity-focused care across diverse age groups.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Nursing teams and other allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary setting.
- Experience in Training, mentoring, or clinical education to support continuous improvement of healthcare staff and screening protocols.
- Medical degree (MBBS or equivalent) from a recognized institution; valid registration with the appropriate medical council.
- Prior experience in preventive health, screening programs, or outpatient clinics is an advantage.
- Comfort working with technology-enabled healthcare solutions, including electronic medical records and imaging platforms.
- Excellent communication skills, patient counseling abilities, and a commitment to ethical, non-discriminatory, patient-centered care.
