Position: General & Operations Manager (Retail & Operations)
Type: Hourly contract
Compensation: $7-$11/hr
Location: Remote
Commitment: 2 Weeks
Role Responsibilities
- Interpret operational data, workflows, and business processes to create realistic operations-focused scenarios
- Analyze store operations, fulfillment processes, and customer service workflows for efficiency and performance
- Develop structured use cases around KPI tracking, staffing, and operational decision-making
- Review and validate outputs for accuracy, feasibility, and alignment with real-world operations
- Identify gaps in processes, service delivery, and operational performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational insights with project requirements
- Support continuous improvement of operational datasets and prompt quality
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field
- MBA or equivalent qualification preferred
- Strong understanding of retail operations, e-commerce, and marketplace workflows
- Experience in store operations, chain retail, or omnichannel operations
- Knowledge of KPI tracking, performance metrics, and operational reporting
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience in KPI review and performance optimization
- Knowledge of staffing, workforce planning, and scheduling
- Familiarity with fulfillment operations and supply chain processes
- Experience in SOP creation and process standardization
- Vendor coordination and stakeholder management experience
