Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a General Manager - Fitout located in Bengaluru. The General Manager will oversee and coordinate all aspects of fitout project delivery, including design, planning, budget management, timelines, and execution. Key responsibilities include managing and mentoring cross-functional teams, liaising with clients to ensure expectations are met, mitigating risks, driving operational efficiency, and ensuring that projects meet quality standards. The role will also involve vendor management, stakeholder collaboration, and adherence to health and safety guidelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in project management, operations management, and team leadership
- Knowledge of design principles, fitout processes, and construction management
- Strong client relationship management and vendor negotiation skills
- Proficiency in budget and timeline management
- Understanding of health and safety practices related to construction projects
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to motivate and lead multidisciplinary teams effectively
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus
- Experience in commercial fitout or Design-Build projects is highly desirable
- Flexibility to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
