Sales Manager (South) {Chennai, Hyderabad and Bangalore}
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales operations across South India. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in B2B sales, team management, and technical sales, preferably in lab equipment or industrial machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for the South region.
- Achieve regional sales targets and increase market share.
- Lead, guide, and motivate the regional sales team.
- Build and maintain relationships with key customers.
- Generate new business through customer meetings and follow-ups.
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable testing equipment.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and negotiate deals.
- Track sales performance and submit regular reports.
- Coordinate with production, service, and marketing teams for smooth order execution.
Requirements
- Proven experience in leading a sales team.
- Strong B2B sales experience, preferably in industrial products or lab equipment.
- Good understanding of technical products and ability to explain them to customers.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Target-driven with a strong focus on business growth.
Non Negitiables:
- Experience in lab testing equipment or industrial/heavy machinery.
- Technical qualification/Knowledge in Engineering or a related field.
- Experience handling sales across South India.
- Salary Bracket: 10-12LPA
- Must be willing to travel frequently to Bangalore, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
- The first round of interviews will be conducted virtually. Shortlisted candidates will then attend a face-to-face interview with the Hiring Managers at the job location.
