Position Summary:The General Manager – Sales & Marketing will lead and drive the commercial strategy, sales execution, and marketing initiatives for the Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical,OTC, D2C, MLM & FMGC, B2B business. This role is responsible for achieving top-line revenue, market share growth, profitability, channel expansion, and strengthening customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities : 1. Strategic LeadershipØ Develop and execute a comprehensive Sales & Marketing strategy aligned with business goals.
Ø Forecast market trends, competitor actions, and customer needs to identify opportunities.
Ø Drive business planning, budgeting, and performance metrics.
Ø Managing KOL’s of industries.
2. Sales ManagementØ Lead and manage the entire B2B sales function across defined segments
Ø Set targets, allocate territories, and monitor sales performance.
Ø Build and maintain high-value customer relationships and negotiate key contracts.
Ø Identify and convert strategic accounts while retaining key existing clients.
3. Marketing & Brand PositioningØ Plan & implement product positioning, branding & promotion strategies for Nutraceutical, Pharmaceutical, OTC, D2C, MLM & FMGC offerings.
Ø Develop market segmentation and pricing strategies to maximize growth and profitability.
Ø Lead digital and traditional marketing campaigns targeting B2B stakeholders.
4. Team Leadership & DevelopmentØ Build, mentor and lead a high-performance sales and marketing team.
Ø Define KRA - KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and implement training programs.
Ø Drive a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
5. Trade Show Participation & Visitng relevent Conferences. Ø Represent the organization at national and international conferences, including CPHI and Vitafoods.
Ø Attend and participate in doctors’ conferences to strengthen scientific engagement and brand visibility.
Ø Generate business leads and build strategic partnerships through trade exhibitions.
Ø Coordinate booth management, promotional activities, and post-event follow-ups.
Ø Present company portfolio to prospective clients, distributors, and healthcare professionals
6. Financial & Operational AccountabilityØ Prepare and monitor sales budgets, revenue forecasts, and P&L performance.
Ø Optimize sales cost structures and ROI for marketing programs.
Ø Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
7. Cross-Functional CollaborationØ Work closely with Product, Regulatory, SCM, Operations, and Finance teams.
Ø Support product launches, new market entries, and go-to-market plans.
Ø Provide market feedback for product development and portfolio planning.
Key DeliverablesØ Achieve quarterly, Half Yearly and annual sales revenue and profitability targets.
Ø Strong market share growth in key segments.
Ø Expanded distribution network and improve customer coverage.
