About The Role
The Regional Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales strategy, market expansion, and revenue growth for the aqua feed business in ROI aqua feed market. The role requires strong leadership, deep industry knowledge, and proven expertise in channel development, key account management, and building high-performance sales teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Growth
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, volume, and market share targets in Andhra Pradesh.
- Drive expansion in fish feed & Aqua Health care segments.
- Forecast demand and ensure product availability through close coordination with production & supply chain teams.
- Channel & Dealer Management
- Build and strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, and large-scale farmers.
- Design and implement effective incentive schemes, credit policies, and partner engagement models.
- Monitor dealer performance and ensure high channel satisfaction.
- Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Regional Sales Managers/Area Sales Managers across Andhra Pradesh.
- Build a high-performance culture with clear KPIs, training, and coaching interventions.
- Align sales teams with organizational goals and ensure strong field execution.
- Market Development & Customer Engagement
- Conduct regular farmer engagement programs, awareness sessions, and demonstrations to promote feed usage.
- Gather customer insights, competitor intelligence, and market trends to refine go-to-market strategies.
- Partner with technical and R&D teams to support product positioning and after-sales service.
- Strategic Planning & Reporting
- Develop annual sales plans, budgets, and forecasts for Andhra Pradesh.
- Track performance against sales targets and provide actionable MIS reports to senior leadership.
- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and geographies for expansion.
Education
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Fisheries
Experience
- 20+ years in Sales in Aqua Feed/Animal Nutrition/Agri-inputs industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
Key Skills
- Market Knowledge: Strong understanding on aqua culture ecosystem.
- Leadership: Proven ability to manage large sales teams and channel networks.
- Skills: Excellent negotiation, relationship management, and strategic thinking.
- Language: Proficiency in Telugu & English is a must.
