- Develop and implement annual and long-term sales strategies to achieve revenue and market share targets.
- Lead the ethical pharmaceutical business operations, ensuring strong prescription generation and doctor engagement.
- Build and scale a structured field force (MRs, ABMs, RBMs) with clear productivity benchmarks.
- Drive secondary sales growth through effective territory planning and execution.
- Design and execute marketing strategies, including brand positioning, campaign planning, and promotional inputs.
- Plan and execute new product launches, including pre-launch strategy, doctor activation, and post-launch tracking.
- Establish and strengthen relationships with doctors, KOLs, and healthcare institutions.
- Monitor field activities such as doctor calls, coverage, conversion ratios, and reporting systems.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and prescription data to refine strategies.
- Ensure strict adherence to ethical promotion practices and regulatory guidelines.
- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure seamless execution and availability of products.
- Develop and manage sales budgets, marketing spends, and ROI tracking.
- Implement training and development programs for the sales team to enhance productivity and capability.
- Establish performance management systems, including KPIs, reviews, and corrective action plans.
- Drive geographical expansion, starting from Maharashtra to PAN India.
- Create and maintain sales reporting systems, dashboards, and MIS for leadership visibility.
- Identify and onboard distributors/stockists and ensure efficient channel management.
- Lead from the front with field visits, joint calls, and on-ground execution oversight.
