Job Title: General Manager - Refrigeration, HVAC, or Auto Components
Role Overview
Looking for a dynamic and result-oriented AGM / Senior Manager – Product Management / Sales / Business Development with strong experience in component manufacturing within the Refrigeration, HVAC, or Auto Components industry.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Sales Growth
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in domestic and international markets.
- Drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition and expansion of existing accounts.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with business objectives.
- Explore new industry segments and growth opportunities.
Customer & Key Account Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with OEMs and key industrial customers.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer communication, negotiations, and business reviews.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships.
RFQ & Costing Management
- Manage end-to-end RFQ process including enquiry analysis, costing, and quotation submission.
- Coordinate with engineering, sourcing, and production teams for pricing, feasibility, and timelines.
- Prepare competitive techno-commercial proposals.
- Participate in contract negotiations and order finalization.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with Design, Production, Quality, Purchase, and Supply Chain teams.
- Ensure timely execution of customer orders and development projects.
- Resolve commercial or operational issues to ensure seamless delivery.
Product Management & Market Development
- Understand market trends, competitor products, and customer requirements.
- Support new product launches and portfolio expansion.
- Collect market intelligence and customer feedback for product improvements.
Exhibitions & Marketing Activities
- Plan and participate in industry exhibitions, trade fairs, and customer events.
- Represent the company professionally and generate business leads.
- Strengthen brand visibility in target markets.
Reporting & Data Analysis
- Use advanced Excel for forecasting, costing analysis, MIS reports, and pipeline tracking.
- Monitor sales KPIs, margins, and business performance.
- Present reports and business updates to senior management.
Key Requirements
Educational Qualification
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering preferred.
- MBA in Marketing / Sales preferred.
Experience
- 10–15+ years of experience in Sales / Product Management / Business Development.
- Must have experience in Refrigeration Components / HVAC Components / Auto Components manufacturing industry.
- Strong exposure to OEM sales and industrial B2B customers.
- Proven experience in handling RFQs, costing, and commercial negotiations.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience dealing with HVAC / Refrigeration OEMs.
- Strong network within industrial manufacturing sectors.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-driven, target-oriented, and result-focused professional.
- Strong analytical and leadership capabilities.
