Job Summary:
This role will be responsible for driving Project execution and operational readiness of ongoing commercial projects and upcoming projects. The individual will act as a central problem-solver, ensuring smooth progress by proactively addressing challenges across departments including approvals, liaisoning, construction, vendors, and financial workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Liaisoning activities with government authorities for approvals, licenses, and regulatory clearances
- Strong understanding of Liaisoning process and compliance to manage the Liaisoning work with all the required authorities.
- Lead end-to-end coordination of ongoing commercial mall projects to ensure timely execution
- Identify bottlenecks across departments (engineering, billing, procurement, legal, finance, vendors) and resolve them proactively
- Extensive travel would be required to meet vendors, government officials in Mandi/Shimla, and other project locations.
- Act as a single point of accountability for removing execution roadblocks impacting timelines
- Coordinate closely with all the project, construction, and engineering teams for on-ground progress
- Monitor contractor and vendor performance and resolve disputes or delays
- Ensure all documentation, approvals, and compliance requirements are in place
- Track project timelines, budgets, and risk factors; implement mitigation plans
- Support commercial readiness including retail leasing coordination inputs (if required)
- Drive cross-functional collaboration to maintain project momentum
Qualifications & Experience
- 10-15 years of experience in Construction, real estate, with strong exposure to commercial mall or retail projects.
- Extensive hands-on experience in liaisoning with local authorities and regulatory bodies
- Strong understanding of construction processes, approvals, and project lifecycle
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-department challenges
- High ownership mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Experience in vendor and contractor management
- Ability to work in high-pressure, dynamic project environments
- Strong coordination and stakeholder management skillsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture; MBA preferred.
