Role Description The General Manager Production role is a full-time, on-site position based in Brahmapur. This role oversees end-to-end production operations, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to meet output, cost, and delivery targets. The General Manager Production monitors manufacturing performance, drives process improvements, and ensures adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading and developing production teams, coordinating with cross-functional departments, resolving operational issues, and maintaining optimum utilization of equipment and materials. The role also involves setting performance metrics, reviewing production reports, managing budgets, and implementing best practices to support continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Production Planning and Production Management skills to oversee and optimize manufacturing operations.
- Candidates should possess Quality Control expertise to maintain product standards and ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Candidates should possess proven Team Leadership capabilities to guide, motivate, and develop diverse production teams.
- Candidates should possess Manufacturing experience, ideally within energy solutions, electrical equipment, or related industries.
- Candidates should possess solid analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data and metrics for decision-making.
- Candidates should possess effective communication and stakeholder management skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Candidates should possess familiarity with safety regulations, lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement methodologies.
- A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Management, or a related field is preferred; relevant senior-level production experience is essential.
