Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Indore for a General Manager Procurement Head at Zenith Drugs Limited. The responsibilities include developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, analyzing market trends, and overseeing the procurement team to ensure the timely availability of quality raw materials and supplies. The role also involves maintaining budget efficiency, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards, and collaborating with internal departments to align procurement processes with organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Vendor Development
- Strong expertise in Negotiation, Communication, and Decision-Making Skills for supplier contracts and partnerships
- Ability to conduct Market Analysis, Budgeting, and Cost Optimization to ensure efficient resource allocation
- In-depth Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Industry standards, Regulatory Compliance, and WHO-GMP requirements
- Proficiency in ERP Systems and Supply Chain Management tools
- Proven leadership and team management experience to guide and develop the procurement team
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or additional certifications (e.g., CIPS, CPSM) are an advantage
- At least 8-10 years of relevant procurement and supply chain experience, with a preference for candidates from the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
