General Manager- Physical Security & Loss Prevention (PSLP)
Role Summary
DTDC is seeking a strategic and execution-driven leader to anchor the Physical Security and Loss Prevention (PSLP) function. This role will be responsible for designing and driving enterprise-wide strategies to safeguard assets, people, and shipments, while enabling a resilient and high-performance logistics network.
The role goes beyond traditional security management—focusing on data-led decision-making, technology integration, and governance frameworks to proactively mitigate risks, reduce shrinkage, and strengthen operational integrity across the network.
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Security Strategy & Leadership
Define and drive a comprehensive security and loss prevention strategy aligned with DTDC’s long-term growth and service excellence goals.
Establish high benchmarks for operational excellence and risk governance, ensuring consistency across the network.
Build a forward-looking roadmap that integrates technology, analytics, and process maturity frameworks.
2. Technology Integration & Innovation
Own the lifecycle of large-scale security systems (Access Control, CCTV, Video Analytics) across facilities.
Drive scalable and integrated security architecture, enabling data visibility and predictive insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed automation and intelligent monitoring systems.
3. Risk Governance & Loss Prevention
Design and implement proactive mechanisms to control shrinkage and loss trends (e.g., COD losses, fake scans).
Lead advanced risk assessments across the logistics and supply chain network.
Establish SOPs and governance frameworks that ensure trust, reliability, and compliance across operations.
4. High-Impact Investigations
Lead sensitive and complex investigations related to fraud, employee misconduct, or organized loss events.
Ensure structured, unbiased, and timely resolution while upholding a culture of openness, fairness, and accountability.
5. Vendor & Financial Governance
Manage CAPEX and OPEX budgets for security infrastructure and services.
Oversee vendor ecosystem, ensuring service excellence, cost efficiency, and compliance with defined standards.
6. Stakeholder Influence & Reporting
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership by translating security risks into actionable business insights.
Drive executive-level reporting with clarity, enabling informed and timely decision-making.
Foster strong cross-functional collaboration, reinforcing DTDC’s culture of responsiveness and shared ownership.
Candidate Profile
Experience
8–10+ years in physical security and loss prevention, with at least 5 years in a leadership or program management role within logistics or supply chain environments.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Business, or a related field
Master’s degree / MBA preferred
Certifications
Certified Protection Professional (CPP)
Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) or Physical Security Professional (PSP)
