Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a General Manager of Business Development at Sritech. The General Manager will be responsible for developing and executing business strategies to drive revenue growth, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and identifying new market opportunities. Duties include leading business development initiatives, negotiating contracts, collaborating with the product and engineering teams, and preparing reports on market trends and business performance. The individual will also oversee the sales team while ensuring alignment with the company’s vision, mission, and strategic objectives.
Qualifications
- Strong business development and strategic planning skills, with a proven track record in identifying and pursuing growth opportunities
- Experience in client relationship management, contract negotiation, and maintaining long-term partnerships with stakeholders
- Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment industry and technical understanding of equipment and systems to align solutions with client needs
- Ability to manage, lead, and motivate a sales and business development team effectively
- Strong analytical skills to interpret market data and trends for informed decision-making
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate complex solutions to diverse audiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or relevant advanced degree is an advantage
- Experience working with international markets, particularly in Africa and the Middle East, is beneficial
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
