Role Purpose: The GM – Sales Training is responsible for driving the Sales Capability strategy across the national sales network, enabling Relationship Managers and Sales Leaders to build strong consultative selling, product expertise, and customer engagement capability. The role ensures training initiatives translate into improved conversions, higher productivity, and revenue growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Capability Strategy – Design and implement the national sales training and capability roadmap aligned with business growth objectives.
- Training Programs & Sales Academy – Develop structured learning programs for Relationship Managers, Sales Managers, and Regional Leaders.
- Consultative Selling Excellence – Build strong consultative selling culture, enabling sales teams to position membership/timeshare products as advisory solutions.
- Field Coaching & Sales Enablement – Partner with HCA / ZTM to drive coaching, role plays, and field interventions to improve sales effectiveness.
- Product & Campaign Readiness – Lead training for product refreshers and promotional offers in consultation with BM & ZTM’s.
- Impact Measurement – Track capability impact through conversion ratios, sales productivity, and revenue improvement.
Key Success Metrics:
• Improvement in sales conversion rates
• Sales productivity per Relationship Manager
• Time-to-productivity for new hires • Training coverage and certification rates
Experience:
• 12–18 years in sales capability development / sales training
• Experience managing large, direct sales teams & zonal training set-up
• Exposure to Banking & Insurance, Real Estate, consultative sales businesses preferred
