📢 Hiring: General Manager – Compliance & Secretarial (Kolkata)
Are you a seasoned CS professional with a deep-rooted understanding of the NBFC landscape? We are looking for a strategic leader to lead a team of professionals in our Secretarial and Compliance functions in Kolkata.
This isn't just a role about filings; it’s about navigating the complex regulatory heartbeat of a growing financial institution.
We are looking for a meticulous professional who brings:
- Experience: 15+ years of core experience in Corporate Secretarial and Compliance.
- Sector Expertise: At least 10 years specifically within the NBFC sector.
- Educational Excellence: A qualified Company Secretary (CS) is mandatory. An LLB degree will be highly preferred.
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading and mentoring a high-performing team.
- The MFI Edge: Prior experience in an NBFC-MFI environment will be considered a significant advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensuring 100% compliance with RBI, MCA, Stock Exchanges and SEBI regulations.
- Acting as a strategic advisor on compliance, governance and secretarial matters.
- Managing Board proceedings, committee meetings, and annual reports.
- Liaising with regulatory authorities and ensuring timely statutory filings.
- Leading and developing the internal compliance team to stay ahead of regulatory shifts.
