Job ProfileThe General Manager will oversee core operational verticals including sales coordination, HR, procurement, government tendering, and factory operations, sound knowledge of commercial and treasury function.
Job Descritption
- Oversee end-to-end logistics and market-facing sales coordination to guarantee timely product delivery and client satisfaction. Also ensure timely execution of Customer relationship Management for timely collections from customers, providing, assistance for sampling , technical inputs , commercials documentation and other SCM related matters .
- Supervise sales order booking, billing verification, and documentations coordination to minimize revenue leakage.
- Ensure seamless communication between the corporate office and the production facility to timely and satisfactory supply for customer demand through on time management of resources.
- Direct the procurement team in strategic sourcing, vendor evaluation, and the procurement of raw materials or capital assets.
- Monitor, forecast, and manage daily and long-term liquidity to ensure seamless operations and optimal fund utilization
- Lead high-value commercial negotiations to optimize purchasing costs and improve overall profit margins. Oversee the end-to-end process of identifying, preparing, and submitting government tenders. Lead final commercial negotiations and risk assessments for public sector contracts to maximize win rates and profitability.
- Supervise general HR operations, payroll administration, and employee relation strategies.
- Monitor compliance with industrial regulations, MIDC guidelines, land deals, and manufacturing policies. Act as the corporate representative in high-level meetings with government officials and local authorities to resolve factory or land bottlenecks.
Qualification and Experience :
Commerce graduate preferably an post graduate
Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in plant operations, general management, or commercial leadership, with a strong background in manufacturing preferably in chemical sector.
- Proven track record in corporate finance, treasury management, banking operations, and working capital optimization.
- Strong negotiation skills, deep understanding of government tender frameworks, and exceptional cross-functional leadership capabilities.
