Purpose
The Chief of Staff is a critical member of the leadership support team, providing comprehensive and strategic support to the CEO. This role ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the CEO’s office by facilitating cross-departmental communication and coordination, overseeing key projects and initiatives, and representing the CEO when needed. The position requires a proactive, adaptable professional who can excel in a fast-paced environment while managing a wide range of responsibilities with exceptional efficiency, judgment, and discretion.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Analytics & Performance Monitoring
- Serve as the central repository for Key Result Areas (KRAs) of the organization.
- Track performance with monthly and weekly dashboards in a project-driven environment.
- Coordinate with business leaders to establish a regular cadence of reviews and performance monitoring.
- Identify flag risk areas and work with leaders to define mitigation measures.
- Project Management
- Lead and support strategic projects and initiatives on behalf of the CEO and executive leadership.
- Organize key events, manage special assignments, and oversee cross-functional project teams to ensure timely and effective delivery.
- Representation, Communication & Coordination
- Represent the CEO in internal and external meetings, including engagements with officials and key stakeholders.
- Ensure effective communication flow between the CEO and various departments.
- Contingency & Issue Management
- Manage day-to-day contingencies, urgencies, and operational issues on behalf of the CEO.
- Act as a central point of contact for internal and external stakeholders—including board members, investors, partners, and senior leaders.
- Facilitate alignment, coordinate activities, and support smooth organizational functioning.
- Strategic Planning & Execution
- Support the CEO in formulating and executing strategic plans and organizational objectives.
- Conduct research, analyze data, and prepare presentations and reports to inform decision-making.
- Information & Confidentiality Management
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with high discretion and integrity.
- Maintain efficient systems for organizing, storing, and retrieving executive-level documents, reports, and materials.
- Team & Cross-Functional Support
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team and other departments to ensure clarity, alignment, and timely execution of priorities.
- Act as a liaison to streamline communication and enhance cross-functional coordination.
- Executive Office Leadership & Administrative Support
- Lead the Executive Support Team to ensure seamless delivery of administrative services.
- Provide high-level administrative assistance to the CEO, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, travel coordination, and preparation of presentations and briefing materials.
Knowledge and Experience
Education Qualifications
Bachelor’s in administration or related domain.
Master’s in Administration or equivalent
Experience
Minimum 11-15 years of experience in strategy, management consulting or, advisory, experience in consulting preferred
Language Skills
Must be fluent in English and Hindi
