Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Indore, for the position of General Manager. The General Manager will oversee day-to-day operations, lead project planning and execution, manage resources, and ensure the timely completion of projects within budgets. Responsibilities also include driving business growth, maintaining client relationships, ensuring compliance with regulations, leading and mentoring the team, and monitoring performance metrics to achieve strategic goals.
Qualifications
- Leadership and Management: Proven experience in leadership roles, team management, and strategic decision-making.
- Project Management: Expertise in planning, executing, and monitoring large-scale infrastructure projects, specifically in the water sector.
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with infrastructure development methodologies, including EPC projects and Micro Tunneling with Trenchless Technology.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of budgeting, financial planning, and cost control.
- Communication and Negotiation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and collaborate with diverse stakeholders and lead negotiations effectively.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of government regulations and compliance standards pertaining to infrastructure projects.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related fields. An MBA or PMP certification is desirable. Relevant industry experience is required, with a preference for candidates with a track record in large-scale infrastructure projects.
