Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site General Manager role based in Lonavala, Pune (410403). The General Manager will lead day-to-day operations, overseeing production, supply chain, and quality assurance to meet strategic goals and ensure operational excellence. Responsibilities include managing cross-functional teams, setting policies, ensuring compliance with international standards, optimizing processes to enhance productivity, and driving business growth. The General Manager will also maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders and identify opportunities for business development.
Qualifications
- Leadership and management skills with expertise in team building, delegation, and cross-functional team collaboration
- Operational knowledge in production management, supply chain, and quality assurance processes
- Strategic planning and decision-making capabilities combined with problem-solving skills
- Experience with compliance and adherence to international standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- Analytical and financial planning skills to improve the company's overall performance
- Proven track record in a leadership role within the manufacturing or engineering sector
- Proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) software and related tools
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field with minimum work experience of 10 to 15 years or a Master's degree in a related field with minimum work experience of 7 to 10 years.
- Experience in the automotive or engineering sector is a plus
