Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced General Manager to lead overall operations, drive business growth, and strengthen our presence in both skill development and manpower/staffing services. The ideal candidate will have strong operational expertise along with proven experience in managing manpower deployment and client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee end-to-end operations of training centers and manpower projects
- Develop and execute business strategies for growth in skill development and staffing/manpower services
- Manage large-scale manpower deployment projects and client requirements
- Build and maintain relationships with corporates, industries, and government bodies
- Drive business development in staffing, recruitment, and placement services
- Ensure compliance with government schemes such as DDU-GKY, PMKVY, MSSDS, etc.
- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams
- Monitor KPIs, operational performance, and financial outcomes
- Ensure achievement of placement and manpower deployment targets
- Identify new business opportunities in manpower outsourcing and workforce solutions
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred)
- 8–15 years of experience in operations/management
- Mandatory experience in Manpower/Staffing/Recruitment industry
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience handling large teams and workforce deployment
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven track record in business growth and target achievement
Preferred Skills
- Experience in skill development sector (NSDC / Sector Skill Councils)
- Strong network with corporates for manpower requirements
- Knowledge of training + placement ecosystem
- Financial planning and operational excellence
- Experience in handling government or large-scale projects
