Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site General Manager position located in New Delhi. The General Manager will oversee project execution, monitor operational efficiency, and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards. They will develop and manage budgets, coordinate with stakeholders, ensure legal compliance, and lead cross-functional teams for the successful completion of construction projects. The role involves strategic planning, problem-solving, and providing leadership to achieve organizational objectives.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership abilities in managing large-scale infrastructure or Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects
- Strong project management skills, including budgeting, planning, and execution
- In-depth knowledge of road, highways, and transportation engineering projects
- Experience with team building, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Comprehensive understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards in the construction industry
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in project management tools and software is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field; advanced degree or certifications in project management is a plus
- Minimum of 20+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role within the infrastructure or construction sector
