Job Summary:The General Manager will be responsible for the overall operations, profitability, and guest experience of the Restobar. This role requires strong leadership, operational excellence, team management, and a deep understanding of F&B service standards, bar operations, and business performance.
Key Responsibilities:1. Operations Management- Oversee daily restaurant & bar operations ensuring smooth functioning
- Maintain high standards of food quality, service, hygiene, and ambiance
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, safety, and local regulations
2. Revenue & Profitability- Drive sales, revenue growth, and achieve monthly targets
- Monitor P&L, control costs (food cost, liquor cost, manpower)
- Implement strategies for upselling, promotions, and guest retention
3. Team Management- Hire, train, and develop staff (service, kitchen, bar)
- Manage staff scheduling, productivity, and performance
- Maintain high team engagement and reduce attrition
4. Guest Experience- Ensure exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction
- Handle escalations and resolve complaints professionally
- Build strong relationships with repeat and premium customers
5. Bar & Beverage Management- Oversee bar operations, inventory, and liquor cost control
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol and compliance
- Introduce new beverage menus and promotions
6. Inventory & Vendor Management- Monitor stock levels and minimize wastage
- Coordinate with vendors and ensure timely procurement
- Conduct regular audits and stock checks
7. Marketing & Business Development- Work with marketing team for events, promotions, and campaigns
- Drive footfall through local marketing and partnerships
- Manage social media presence (with marketing support)
