Role Description
The General Manager will oversee the daily operations of a Brij Hotels property in Bhowali - Nainital. This full-time, on-site role involves managing all aspects of hotel operations, including guest relations, team leadership, financial performance, quality assurance, and compliance with standards. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing operational strategies, ensuring guest satisfaction, managing budgetary goals, maintaining property standards, and fostering a positive work environment for staff. The General Manager will also collaborate with corporate leadership to enhance the guest experience and drive sustainable growth for the property.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in hospitality management, hotel operations, or a similar leadership role
- Exceptional customer service and guest relations skills
- Ability to lead and manage teams effectively
- Strong financial management, cost control, and budgetary skills
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards, compliance, and quality assurance processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with local cultures, attractions, and customs for delivering hyperlocal experiences
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic, on-site work environment
- Experience working with bespoke or luxury hospitality brands is an advantage
- Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
