Responsible for overall administrative control of the manufacturing unit, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, discipline, coordination between departments, and efficient shop floor support.
Responsibilities
Shop Floor Administration
- Maintain discipline, safety, and compliance on the shop floor
- Monitor workforce attendance, shift management, and manpower allocation
- Ensure smooth coordination between production, maintenance, and stores
- Resolve day-to-day operational issues quickly
Required Skills
- Strong practical experience in manufacturing/shop floor environment
- Excellent people management and discipline handling
- Good knowledge of labour laws & factory regulations
- Problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Ability to work with senior management and workers alike
Preferred Profile
- Experienced professionals / retired personnel preferred
- Background: Manufacturing, plant administration, or operations
- Experience: 15–30+ years in factory/admin roles
- Retired defence / PSU / plant admin professionals are also suitable
