Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced General Manager – Weaving to oversee and manage end-to-end weaving operations at our factory. The ideal candidate will be responsible for production planning, team leadership, quality assurance, process optimization, and cost control. This is a key leadership role, directly impacting fabric quality, efficiency, and delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage all weaving operations including planning, scheduling, and production execution
2. Ensure quality standards are met and maintained at every stage of the weaving process
3. Optimize resource utilization—machines, manpower, and materials—for maximum efficiency
4. Implement cost-control measures and reduce operational wastage
5. Coordinate closely with design, dyeing, and finishing departments to maintain workflow continuity
6. Recruit, train, and manage technical staff and weavers
7. Maintain machinery upkeep and ensure preventive maintenance
8. Generate production reports and MIS for upper management
9. Stay updated on new weaving technologies and process improvements
Qualifications & Skills
1. Minimum 10 years of experience in weaving operations, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role
2. Degree/Diploma in Textile Technology or related field
4. Proven track record in managing large teams and meeting production KPIs
5. Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills
Familiarity with textile ERP/production software is an added advantage
