General Manager – Nomination Business (Sea, Air, Transportation)

Location: Mumbai

Salary Range: ₹12,00,000 – ₹18,00,000 per annum

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager (Nomination Business) to lead sales and business development in the logistics and freight forwarding sector. The ideal candidate will bring strong network of global agents, industry expertise, a proven track record in sales, and the ability to drive growth across sea, air, and transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong global agent relationships to secure new business opportunities.
  • Know the effective use of global network platform like JCtrans / GLA / X2 / WCA
  • Identify and convert market opportunities into profitable sales in sea and air freight.
  • Coordinate with operations and pricing teams to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Achieve sales targets and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Expand product offerings in Air Freight, Ocean Freight, and Trucking.
  • Negotiate effectively with shippers, consignees, and shipping lines.
  • Provide strategic direction to strengthen the company’s market presence.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of sales experience in logistics/freight forwarding.
  • Strong knowledge of the Indian market with a direct shipper/consignee clientele base.
  • Proven ability to generate leads and close deals independently.
  • Result-oriented mindset with determination to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Deep understanding of freight forwarding services (Sea, Air, Transportation, Warehousing).
  • Commercial acumen to prioritize and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build long-term partnerships.
  • Ability to work independently and lead sales initiatives
