About the Opportunity
We are looking for an accomplished Landscape Design Leader with deep expertise in premium residential real estate development to lead the landscape design and delivery of our landmark residential communities. In this role, you will independently drive the end-to-end landscape design journey across multiple residential projects, ensuring world-class outdoor environments that enhance customer experience, elevate project positioning, and deliver long-term value.
The Role
As General Manager – Landscape Architecture, you will lead the landscape design strategy and execution for premium residential developments including townships, plotted communities, villas, and high-rise residential projects. You will own the complete landscape design lifecycle from concept development to final submission drawings while ensuring innovation, functionality, sustainability, and design excellence across every project.
You will work closely with external consultants, architects, infrastructure teams, MEP stakeholders, and internal leadership to ensure seamless design integration and superior execution quality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Own 4–5 residential projects end-to-end, driving landscape design development from approved project brief through submission drawings and execution readiness.
2. Lead accelerated yet structured landscape design processes, ensuring timely closure of design decisions, consultant deliverables, and management approvals.
3. Evaluate, refine, and optimize landscape concepts prepared by external consultants, improving usability, aesthetics, customer experience, sustainability, and long-term maintainability.
4. Drive design excellence across all outdoor environments, including open spaces, clubhouse landscapes, streetscapes, recreational zones, children's play areas, senior citizen spaces, water features, sports zones, and thematic landscaping.
5. Challenge design assumptions and recommend the most suitable landscape solutions** that strengthen project market positioning while ensuring practical execution feasibility.
6. Lead and influence external landscape consultants and internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment on design intent, timelines, quality expectations, and project milestones.
7. Review all consultant deliverables prior to issue, including design drawings, GFCs, BOQs, material specifications, planting palettes, irrigation systems, renders, and landscape detailing packages.
8. Ensure seamless interdisciplinary coordination between landscape, architecture, infrastructure, irrigation, lighting, MEP, and project execution teams to eliminate design conflicts and improve execution efficiency.
9. Drive a first-time-right approach, minimizing design revisions, accelerating approvals, and ensuring timely release of final landscape construction documentation.
10. Leverage AI-enabled design technologies, visualization platforms, and emerging landscape planning tools to improve design productivity, innovation, and decision-making efficiency.
Required Qualifications:
1. Master’s Degree in Landscape Architecture
2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from top-tier institutions such as: SPA Delhi, NIT Calicut, NIT Trichy, CEPT Ahmedabad, Sir J.J College of Architecture Mumbai
3. 18–20 years of hands-on experience in landscape design and development within residential real estate.
4. Minimum 3–5 years of experience on the developer side handling premium residential real estate projects.

4. Strong knowledge of plant selection, hardscape materials, irrigation systems, landscape lighting, water-sensitive design, and maintenance planning.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead external consultants and internal stakeholders while ensuring timely project delivery and adherence to design quality benchmarks.
6. Strong decision-making capability with the ability to recommend the most commercially optimized and customer-centric landscape solutions.
7. Excellent communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and coordination skills.
8. Familiarity with AI-enabled landscape design platforms, visualization tools, and emerging sustainable design technologies will be an added advantage.
