Role OverviewWe are looking for a General Manager to work closely with the CEO as a strategic and execution partner. This role will be responsible for building the roadmap, hiring and leading teams, and driving business growth across channels.
You will act as the second-in-command, ensuring that vision translates into execution across sales, e-commerce, marketing, and operations.
Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Strategy & Growth- Define and execute the overall business roadmap in alignment with the CEO
- Drive revenue growth across D2C (website), marketplaces, and offline channels
- Identify new growth opportunities (channels, categories, partnerships)
- Own P&L, budgeting, and business performance metrics
E-commerce & Sales- Oversee end-to-end D2C operations (Shopify, conversion optimization, retention)
- Scale performance marketing in collaboration with internal/external teams
- Optimize funnels, AOV, and customer lifecycle
- Expand presence across marketplaces (Amazon, Nykaa, etc.)
Team Building & Leadership- Hire and build core teams across marketing, operations, and customer experience
- Set KPIs, processes, and accountability structures
- Lead, mentor, and manage cross-functional teams
- Foster a high-performance, ownership-driven culture
Operations & Execution- Ensure smooth coordination across supply chain, inventory, and fulfillment
- Build scalable systems and SOPs across functions
- Monitor logistics, margins, and operational efficiency
- Drive cross-functional alignment and execution discipline
Brand & Customer Experience- Ensure consistent premium brand experience across all touchpoints
- Oversee customer journey from acquisition to retention
- Collaborate on product launches, positioning, and pricing strategy
Required Experience & Skills- 10+ years of experience in D2C, FMCG, beauty, or consumer brands
- Proven track record of scaling revenue and building teams
- Strong understanding of e-commerce, performance marketing, and operations
- Experience managing P&L and driving profitability
- Strategic thinker with strong execution ability
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
Preferred Background- Experience in skincare, beauty, or luxury consumer brands
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment
- Exposure to both online and offline sales channels
Compensation₹25 – ₹50 LPA (depending on experience and profile)
- Performance-linked incentives / ESOPs (if applicable)
