Role Description This is a full-time, on-site General Dentist role based in Bengaluru North. The General Dentist will perform routine and complex dental procedures, including examinations, diagnosis, preventive care, restorations, and basic endodontic and periodontal treatments. Daily responsibilities include reviewing medical and dental histories, explaining treatment options, creating individualized treatment plans, and documenting care in patient records. The role involves working closely with dental assistants and other team members to maintain clinical protocols, infection control standards, and a safe, well-organized operatory. The General Dentist will also provide patient education, promote preventive practices, and participate in practice growth activities, such as recall programs and community outreach when needed.
Qualifications
- Licensed General Dentist with BDS or equivalent degree from an accredited institution; eligibility to practice in Karnataka.
- Clinical proficiency in diagnosis, preventive dentistry, restorative procedures, basic endodontics, and periodontal care.
- Strong patient communication skills, including the ability to explain treatment plans clearly and build trust with diverse patient populations.
- Commitment to high standards of infection control, clinical safety, and adherence to regulatory and ethical guidelines.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-based clinical setting, supervising and coordinating with dental assistants and support staff.
- Comfort with maintaining accurate clinical documentation and using dental practice management or electronic health record systems.
- Willingness to stay current with advances in dental materials, techniques, and technologies through continuous professional development.
- Prior experience in a general practice or community dental setting in India is an advantage, though motivated early-career dentists are encouraged to apply.
