Role Description
Taisei India Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a proactive and organized professional for the position of General Affairs based in Chennai, India. This role will be responsible for managing day-to-day general affairs operations, overseeing facility and administrative services, coordinating office maintenance activities, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.
The ideal candidate will also support budgeting and cost control activities related to administration and facilities while coordinating with internal departments, vendors, and external stakeholders to ensure smooth office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily general affairs and administrative operations.
- Oversee office facilities, maintenance activities, and workplace services.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers for office-related requirements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Support budgeting, expense tracking, and cost control for general affairs activities.
- Maintain office supplies, records, and administrative documentation.
- Assist in travel arrangements, accommodation coordination, and office logistics when required.
- Support employee administrative needs and internal coordination.
- Ensure smooth functioning of office infrastructure and utilities.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Experience in facility management, office administration, or general affairs operations.
- Knowledge of office maintenance and regulatory compliance.
- Budgeting and financial management skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in the construction or real estate industry will be an added advantage.
