MacDougal Studios is looking for sharp, imaginative and visually driven interns who can help us create premium AI-generated visuals for brand films, corporate films, product films, event films and cinematic campaigns.
This is not a regular “AI prompt writing” internship.
We are looking for people who can think in frames.
Our AI generation team already knows the tools. What we need are visual storytellers who can sit with them and describe how a scene should actually look: the camera angle, the light, the mood, the background, the movement, the texture, the emotion and the visual logic of the frame.
You will help convert simple ideas into cinematic visual directions.
What you will do
You will work closely with our creative and AI generation team to develop visual concepts, shot descriptions, AI prompts, moodboards and frame references for films and campaigns.
Your work will include:
- Creating cinematic shot descriptions for AI-generated images and videos
- Thinking through camera angles, lighting, mood, lensing and composition
- Building moodboards and visual references for different projects
- Writing detailed prompts that help AI tools understand the frame deeply
- Creating negative prompts to avoid fake, distorted or unrealistic outputs
- Helping maintain visual consistency across characters, locations, products and scenes
- Supporting storyboard development for brand films, product films and AI-led campaigns
- Studying films, ads, photography and visual references to improve output quality
- Sitting with AI operators and guiding them on how the visual should feel and look
Who we are looking for
This role is ideal for freshers, students or recent graduates from:
- Film and media studies
- Mass communication
- Visual communication
- Design
- Fine arts
- Animation
- Photography

- Cinematography
- Direction or storytelling backgrounds
You do not need to be an expert in AI tools. But you must have strong visual imagination.
You should have
- A strong eye for visuals, frames, lighting and mood
- Interest in cinema, advertising, photography, design or storytelling
- Ability to describe scenes clearly and creatively
- Basic understanding of camera angles, composition and visual references
- Curiosity to learn AI filmmaking tools and workflows
- Good writing ability in English
- Patience to experiment, improve and refine outputs
- Taste. This matters more than software knowledge.
This role is not for you if
- You only want to write basic prompts
- You are not interested in films, visuals or storytelling
- You do not like observing details
- You think “cinematic 4K” is enough to make a good AI output
- You cannot take feedback and improve your visual thinking
What you will learn
You will learn how modern AI-led filmmaking works inside a real creative studio. You will work on actual brand and corporate projects, understand how visuals are built for clients, and learn how to translate ideas into cinematic AI-generated frames.
You will be trained to think like a visualiser, not just a prompt writer.
