About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced GenAI Solution Architect – Agentic AI to lead the design and implementation of enterprise-scale AI platforms and autonomous agent-based solutions. You will be responsible for architecting production-grade multi-agent systems, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions, and enterprise AI platforms on Microsoft Azure.
This is a hands-on architecture role requiring deep expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI frameworks, Azure AI services, and large-scale distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and architect enterprise-grade Agentic AI and multi-agent systems using modern orchestration frameworks.
- Build scalable AI solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Agent Service, and Azure AI Search.
- Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using vector search and enterprise knowledge repositories.
- Lead architecture for agent orchestration, tool/function calling, memory management, human-in-the-loop workflows, and autonomous decision-making.
- Build secure, scalable, and highly available AI platforms leveraging AKS, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, API Management, Event Grid, and Service Bus.
- Design AI integrations with enterprise applications using APIs, MCP, and event-driven architectures.
- Define AI governance, observability, evaluation frameworks, guardrails, and Responsible AI best practices.
- Evaluate and deploy LLMs including Azure OpenAI and open-source models while optimizing performance, latency, token usage, and cost.
- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership across enterprise AI initiatives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to define AI strategy and deliver measurable business outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 12+ years of software engineering, AI, or solution architecture experience.
- 3+ years in Solution Architect or Technical Architecture roles delivering enterprise AI solutions.
- Proven experience designing and deploying production-grade Agentic AI or Multi-Agent Systems.
Strong expertise in:
- Agentic AI frameworks including LangGraph, LangChain, AutoGen, CrewAI, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent.
- Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, Function Calling, and Fine-tuning.
- Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) and Vector Search.
- Microsoft Azure AI ecosystem including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search, Azure AI Agent Service, AKS, Azure Functions, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL
- Python development and API design.
- Distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Kafka or Azure Event Hubs.
- AI observability, evaluation frameworks, tracing, and guardrails.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Google Vertex AI/Gemini or AWS Bedrock.
- Knowledge of Model Context Protocol (MCP).
- Experience with Pinecone, Weaviate, Neo4j, or other vector/graph databases.
- Exposure to multimodal AI and document intelligence solutions.
- Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Azure AI Engineer Associate.
