About The Role
We are seeking a skilled GenAI Engineer to join our dynamic team at Eros Innovation. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing, optimizing, and deploying advanced large language models (LLMs), vision-language models (VLMs), and multimodal AI systems. Your expertise will contribute to building scalable, high-performance AI solutions that meet real-world business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, backend developers, and data scientists to design and implement end-to-end generative AI systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deep learning, model fine-tuning, and inference optimization, with a passion for pioneering new AI architectures and techniques.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess 4-6 years of professional experience in applied machine learning, deep learning, or multimodal AI systems. Proven expertise with Transformer architectures, LLMs, VLMs, diffusion models, and retrieval-augmented systems is essential. Candidates must have hands-on experience with Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face, and modern training pipelines. A strong understanding of vector databases such as FAISS, Pinecone, Milvus, or Chroma is required. Additionally, experience with inference engines like ONNX, TensorRT, vLLM, and FasterTransformer, along with knowledge of distributed training, GPU utilization, and model optimization techniques, is crucial. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver robust, production-grade AI systems are also mandatory.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing end-to-end GenAI systems, including training, fine-tuning, inference serving, and continuous improvement of models. You will collaborate with backend teams to integrate models into scalable APIs using tools such as Triton, TensorRT, ONNX Runtime, or custom inference engines. Building and maintaining comprehensive model evaluation pipelines—covering metrics like BLEU, ROUGE, safety filters, hallucination checks, and latency benchmarks—will be a key part of your role. You will experiment with emerging architectures such as Mixture-of-Experts and diffusion-based multimodal models, contributing to ongoing research and development efforts. Working closely with product, ML, DevOps, and backend teams, you will ensure seamless delivery of AI features, maintaining thorough documentation, reproducibility, and adherence to best practices in model governance, versioning, and monitoring.
