Role Description The Gen AI Engineer is a full-time remote role responsible for designing, building, and deploying generative AI solutions that enhance data products, analytics platforms, and conversational interfaces for Office Solution AI Labs’ clients. In this role, the engineer will develop and fine-tune models for tasks such as text generation, summarization, code assistance, and data insights, working with technologies like NLP, neural networks, and modern machine learning frameworks. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with product, data, and engineering teams to define solution requirements, implementing scalable APIs and microservices, integrating Gen AI capabilities into existing BI and custom application environments, and performing rigorous testing, evaluation, and optimization of models. The engineer will also create technical documentation, support deployment to cloud environments, ensure responsible AI practices, and contribute to continuous improvement of the company’s AI toolkits and accelerators.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Computer Science and Software Development, including data structures, algorithms, APIs, and cloud-native application design.
- Hands-on experience with Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition for building and optimizing machine learning and deep learning models.
- Practical expertise in Natural Language Processing (NLP), including model fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and evaluation of generative AI systems.
- Proficiency with programming languages such as Python or TypeScript and familiarity with modern ML frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow) and MLOps practices.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related technical field, or equivalent applied experience.
- Experience integrating AI solutions with BI and analytics platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar) is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge of cloud services (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP) and distributed systems for deploying scalable AI services.
