Retail Director (Remote – U.S.)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Retail Director to lead multi-channel retail strategy, drive revenue growth, and elevate customer experience across key markets in the United States. This role is responsible for overseeing retail operations, optimizing performance across locations and digital touchpoints, and aligning execution with broader business objectives. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capability, analytical thinking, and a proven track record of scaling retail organizations in competitive environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead end-to-end retail operations across assigned markets and channels
• Develop and execute retail strategies to drive sales performance and market expansion
• Monitor KPIs, analyze performance trends, and implement data-driven improvements
• Partner with merchandising, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment
• Oversee store standards, customer experience, and operational consistency
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization initiatives
• Recruit, develop, and mentor high-performing retail teams and regional managers
• Identify growth opportunities and support new store or channel expansion initiatives
• Ensure compliance with company policies and operational guidelines
Qualifications & Experience
• 8+ years of progressive experience in retail leadership roles
• Proven success managing multi-location or multi-region retail operations
• Strong understanding of retail analytics, forecasting, and performance management
• Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate independently in a remote work structure
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field preferred
Preferred Skills
• Experience in omnichannel or hybrid retail environments
• Familiarity with retail technology systems and CRM platforms
• Strong strategic planning and execution capability
