Role Description
This is a contract, remote position for a GeM (Government e-Marketplace) Operator in the Aerospace and Defence domain. The role involves managing GeM portal activities, including vendor registrations, product uploads, bid preparation, and order processing. Additional responsibilities include tracking tender opportunities, ensuring compliance with GeM guidelines, coordinating with vendors, and maintaining accurate records of transactions. The GeM Operator will liaise with teams to ensure seamless procurement and sales processes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in GeM portal operations, including vendor registration, bid submission, and order processing
- Strong organizational and record-keeping skills for maintaining transaction data
- Knowledge of Aerospace and Defence domains, including UAVs, Air Defence systems, and weapon platforms, is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities to interact with vendors and internal teams effectively
- Familiarity with regulatory guidelines and compliance standards in procurement processes
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software tools
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a remote work environment
- Graduation or equivalent educational qualifications
