About the Role:
We are looking for a proactive Government IT Sales Executive / GeM Bidder to drive sales of our software solutions across government departments, PSUs, and institutions.
This role involves working on the GeM portal, participating in tenders, and converting opportunities into revenue. You will play a key role in expanding our government business footprint.
Key responsibilities:
- Identify and track relevant tenders on GeM and other government portals
- Prepare and submit bids (technical + commercial) for ERP & CRM solutions
- Manage complete tender lifecycle including documentation, pricing, and compliance
- Coordinate with internal teams for proposal preparation and solution alignment
- Conduct product demos and client meetings (virtual + field)
- Build relationships with government departments and procurement officials
- Follow up on bids, clarifications, and order finalization
- Achieve monthly / quarterly sales and bidding targets
Required skills:
- Minimum 1 year experience in Government IT Sales / GeM bidding (Mandatory)
- Hands-on experience with GeM portal (preferred)
- Basic understanding of ERP / CRM software
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple bids and deadlines
- Target-oriented and self-driven
Preferred:
- Experience in ERP / CRM / SaaS sales
- Knowledge of other tender portals (GeM, CPPP, state portals)
- Existing connections in government sector
- Startup experience
