Role Description This is a full-time, on-site gem role based in Agra. The team member will support daily operations related to government e-marketplace (GeM) activities, including creating and managing product and service listings, updating catalogs, and ensuring compliance with tender and procurement guidelines. The role involves monitoring GeM tenders and opportunities, preparing and submitting bids, tracking bid status, and coordinating with internal teams for documentation, pricing, and approvals. The individual will interact with clients and government stakeholders as needed, maintain accurate records and reports, and support follow-up on orders, payments, and contract obligations. The role also includes collaborating with sales, finance, and operations to ensure smooth execution of GeM-related projects and continuous process improvement.
Qualifications
- Experience with GeM portal operations, including listing management, tender search, bid submission, and order tracking.
- Strong skills in documentation, data entry, and basic MS Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reports and proposals.
- Understanding of government procurement processes, terms, and basic commercial concepts such as pricing, taxes, and payment terms.
- Effective communication and coordination skills to work with internal teams, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Attention to detail, ability to follow guidelines, and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tenders and deadlines.
- Ability to work on-site in Agra, with a proactive, learning-oriented mindset and integrity in handling sensitive information.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Commerce, IT, or a related field; prior experience in GeM or government sales is an advantage.
- Interest in technology and IT solutions, with the ability to quickly understand product and service offerings.
