Job Title: GeM Associate (Government e-Marketplace)
Location : Gurugram
Experience : 3+ Years
CTC : Up to 5 LPA
Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced GeM Specialist to manage end-to-end operations on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) portal. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in vendor registration, product listing, bid participation, and order management on GeM.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage complete GeM portal operations including seller/vendor registration and account handling
• Create, update, and optimize product/service listings on the GeM portal
• Identify relevant tenders and actively participate in bidding and reverse auctions
• Prepare and submit bid documents in compliance with GeM guidelines
• Monitor and track bid status, order processing, and payment follow-ups
• Handle L1 pricing strategy and competitor analysis to improve bid success rate
• Ensure timely submission of technical and commercial documents
• Coordinate with internal teams for documentation, pricing, and approvals
• Stay updated with GeM policies, rules, and portal changes
• Maintain proper MIS reports and records for all GeM activities
Key Skills Required
• Hands-on experience with the GeM Portal
• Strong understanding of government tendering and bidding process
• Knowledge of EMD, BOQ, compliance documentation
• Good analytical and negotiation skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and reporting
• Strong attention to detail and deadline-oriented approach
Eligibility Criteria
• Graduate in any discipline (MBA preferred)
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in GeM operations or tender management
• Prior experience in handling government clients or vendor accounts will be an added advantage
Preferred Candidate Profile
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple bids simultaneously
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach
