Role: DevOps Engineer – Fresher Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka Experience: 0–1 Years Salary: ₹3 LPA – ₹3.5 LPA Employment Type: Full-Time GeekyAnts is hiring freshers passionate about DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, and Automation. This role offers exposure to modern CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes environments, containerized applications, and multi-cloud operations across Azure, GCP, and AWS. If you are eager to build a career in Cloud Engineering, Site Reliability, and DevOps Automation, this position provides a strong start with practical hands-on training under senior engineers. Key Responsibilities Assist in managing and maintaining Kubernetes clusters across on-premises, Azure, and GCP (GKE) environments. Learn to create and troubleshoot Kubernetes manifests (Deployments, Services, ConfigMaps, Secrets). Support administration of middleware components such as Redis, MongoDB, and Kafka. Perform daily monitoring, debugging, and troubleshooting of servers, clusters, and applications. Analyze logs, identify issues, and escalate critical incidents effectively. Assist in performing configuration validation, connectivity testing, and service optimization. Gain exposure to load balancer technologies (Traefik, NGINX, HAProxy). Collaborate with teams using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps. Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and configuration updates. Participate in technical learning sessions and internal knowledge-sharing. Required Skills & Qualifications Solid understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized application management. Strong knowledge of Linux administration, shell commands, and network fundamentals. Familiarity with at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP. Basic understanding of database systems (MongoDB, Redis, Oracle) and message brokers (Kafka). Awareness of CI/CD concepts, Git, and source control workflows. Eagerness to learn monitoring, alerting, and system debugging tools. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Good communication and team collaboration abilities. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (BE/B.Tech/M.Tech).
