Clinical Coder - Remote

Looking for a remote Clinical Coder to join our team! Core Responsibilities: - Review and analyze medical records to accurately assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes - Provide detailed and accurate coding for both outpatient and inpatient services - Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding - Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and payer-specific requirements - Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with coding updates and changes - Achieve and maintain high productivity and quality standards Required Qualifications: - Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) certification - Minimum 2 years of recent experience in medical coding, preferably in a hospital or physician practice setting - Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding guidelines - Excellent communication and problem-solving skills - Proficient in the use of coding software and electronic medical record systems - Ability to work independently and as part of a team - High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
