Job Summary: This is a Full Time role located at our warehouse in Salt Lake City, Utah. As a Customer Service Representative your primary focus will be responding to customer inquiries, assisting with orders, and facilitating communication between buyers and sellers. Most interactions will take place via email, but you’ll occasionally need to make phone calls to provide a more personal touch.
Key Responsibilities for the Customer Service Role:
- Respond to customer emails promptly and professionally.
- Review and process transactions accurately.
- Assist customers with problem orders, including out-of-stock items and locating difficult-to-find products.
- Mediate communication between buyers and sellers to ensure a smooth transaction process.
- Make occasional outbound calls to customers when a more personalized approach is needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, consignment, or a related outdoor oriented field.
- Proficient in written communication with a customer-first mindset.
- Ability to politely de-escalate situations and resolve issues.
- Quick to assimilate information and able to multitask effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to coordinate with team members.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Passion for outdoor gear and sustainability is a plus.
