Job Summary
The GDS Executive will be responsible for handling flight reservations, ticketing, reissuance, cancellations, and customer servicing through Global Distribution Systems (GDS). The role requires strong knowledge of airline fare rules, routing, and travel regulations to ensure accurate and efficient ticketing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle domestic and international flight bookings using GDS platforms such as Amadeus and Galileo.
- Issue, reissue, and cancel air tickets as per client requirements.
- Verify fare rules, baggage policies, and visa requirements.
- Manage PNR creation, modifications, and queue handling.
- Process refunds and manage airline schedule changes.
- Handle ADM (Agency Debit Memo) and ACM (Agency Credit Memo) cases.
- Coordinate with airlines for special service requests (SSR) and seat assignments.
- Ensure accurate documentation, invoicing, and reporting.
- Provide customer support for ticketing-related queries.
- Maintain turnaround time (TAT) and agreed service level commitments.
Requirements
- Strong GDS ticketing knowledge, fare construction, and IATA regulations understanding.
- Good knowledge of international routing and airline procedures.
- Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving skills, and basic MS Excel proficiency.
