Role Description This is a full-time, on-site GDA/Nursing Staff role based in Delhi, OH. The GDA/Nursing Staff member will support day-to-day patient care activities, including assisting with basic nursing procedures, monitoring vital signs, and supporting patients with daily living tasks under the supervision of qualified medical professionals. Responsibilities include maintaining hygiene and comfort for patients, preparing and organizing patient areas, and ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols. The role also involves accurately documenting observations, coordinating with medical and administrative teams, and communicating clearly with patients, families, and colleagues to support high-quality healthcare delivery.
Qualifications
- Strong Patient Care and Caregiving skills to support daily living activities, comfort, and safety for patients.
- Basic knowledge of Nursing and Medicine to assist with clinical tasks, procedures, and monitoring under supervision.
- Effective Communication skills to interact professionally with patients, families, nursing staff, and other healthcare team members.
- Relevant certification or training as General Duty Assistant (GDA), Nursing Assistant, or equivalent healthcare support qualification.
- Ability to follow clinical protocols, maintain accurate records, and uphold hygiene and infection control standards.
- Empathy, patience, and a service-oriented approach, with readiness to work in shifts as required.
- Prior experience in a hospital, clinic, or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
