Liaise with the Finance Manager of the company. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive the future development of your business area within the BASF Group. Deliver reliable financial information to support management decision-making and strategic planning. Gain a comprehensive understanding of global accounting and charging mechanisms. Lead and support automation and continuous improvement initiatives within the team. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, as well as forecasting and budget planning. Continuously improve and automate reporting to ensure transparency in cost development. Monitor project cost accounting and ensure accurate tracking. Prepare and deliver clear presentations to management. Coordinate management inquiries and structure complex ad-hoc analyses. Ensure compliance with BASF Group’s accounting and controlling guidelines. Conduct training sessions for stakeholders to promote smooth processes and effective knowledge transfer. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Controlling, or Accounting. Several years of relevant experience in business or controlling functions is preferred. Strong proficiency in controlling IT tools such as MS Office, SAP BW, SAP CO/CI, and PowerBI. Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a strong ability to learn and work independently as well as in a team. Team player with a high service orientation and a proactive, continuous improvement mindset. Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of German is an added advantage but not mandatory.
