Roles & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and operate GKE clusters for Spring Boot services
- Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines (build, test, deploy)
- Implement secrets management using GCP Secret Manager
- Configure monitoring, logging, and alerting (Cloud Monitoring, structured logs)
- Support autoscaling, rolling deployments, and zero-downtime releases
- Partner with engineering teams on performance testing and capacity planning
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with GKE / Kubernetes
- CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions or Cloud Build
- Docker containerization and deployment strategies
- Experience with GCP networking, IAM, and security best practices
- Strong operational mindset with incident response and debugging skills
Nice to Have
- Helm charts and environment templating
- Distributed tracing and observability tooling
- Experience supporting high-traffic, consumer-facing platforms
