Roles & Responsibilities
Core Skills
What You Will Do
- Design and migrate API proxies to Apigee
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, mTLS as applicable)
- Configure policies for rate limiting, quotas, threat protection, logging etc
- Integrate Apigee with backend services hosted on Kubernetes platforms(GKE) and databases (Cloud Spanner)
- Support API performance testing, tuning, and gateway optimization
- Troubleshoot API gateway issues during testing and production readiness
What We Need (Must Haves)
- Strong hands-on experience with Apigee
- Deep understanding of API security and traffic management
- Experience implementing API policies and observability
- Ability to support performance and load testing of APIs
Preferred Experience
- Experience in migrating APIs from Azure API Management to Apigee
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for Apigee proxy deployments
- Experience in large-scale API migrations
