About The Opportunity
A cloud-first technology services role in the Cloud Data Engineering & Analytics sector, delivering scalable data platforms and analytics solutions for enterprise clients across fintech, retail, and SaaS. The role focuses on building production-grade ETL and streaming pipelines, optimizing cost and performance on Google Cloud Platform.
Role: Google Cloud Data Engineer (GCP Data Engineer). Location: India — On-site.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate end-to-end batch and streaming data pipelines on GCP using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Pub/Sub to deliver reliable analytics and ML-ready datasets.
- Implement and maintain ETL/ELT workflows, data transformations, and partitioning strategies to optimise query performance and storage costs.
- Develop reusable Dataflow/Apache Beam templates and orchestration using Cloud Composer/Cloud Scheduler for automated, monitored pipelines.
- Collaborate with Data Science and BI teams to define data contracts, schema evolution, and ingestion patterns for event-driven and bulk data sources.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD for data platform components using Terraform, Git, and pipeline automation to ensure repeatable deployments and version control.
- Monitor data quality, pipeline SLAs, and system health with Cloud Monitoring/Logging; troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analysis to drive reliability improvements.

Additional Qualifications

- Google Cloud Professional Data Engineer certification or equivalent practical experience is a plus.
