Experience
- 25+ years of progressive experience in Engineering, EPC, and Consultancy environments
- Proven experience in setting up and scaling Global Capability Centres (GCC) for global organizations
Qualification
- Graduate in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering
Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to head the Global Capability Centre (GCC) Engineering function. The role requires a dynamic professional with strong expertise in scaling engineering operations across multiple disciplines, driving digital transformation, and leading global engineering delivery with operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
1. Global Engineering Leadership
- Lead and manage Global Engineering, Technology, and Engineering Services Centre
- Drive engineering strategy aligned with global business objectives
- Oversee multi-disciplinary engineering teams across geographies
- Ensure excellence in design and detailed engineering delivery
2. GCC Setup & Scale-up
- Establish and scale GCC operations for global organizations
- Develop operating model, governance framework, and delivery processes
- Build high-performance engineering teams across disciplines
- Implement best-in-class work processes and systems
3. Technical & Sector Expertise
Strong exposure in design and detailed engineering across sectors such as:
- Power Generation, Transmission & Distribution
- Energy-intensive industries (Metal Refining)
- Airports & Infrastructure
- Renewables
- Oil & Gas (Onshore & Offshore facilities)
4. Value Engineering & Cost Optimization
- Lead value engineering initiatives
- Drive cost optimization programs across engineering lifecycle
- Improve productivity and efficiency through process improvements
5. Digitalization & Transformation
- Champion digital transformation initiatives
- Implement digital engineering tools and automation strategies
- Lead adoption of technology-driven engineering services
6. Inter-Discipline & Stakeholder Management
- Ensure strong inter-discipline coordination
- Collaborate with global stakeholders and leadership teams
- Influence and convince stakeholders through strong communication and strategic thinking
