Head of HR - GCC Hub | Chennai | Exclusive for EPC Background Professionals Only
Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic Head of HR for a GCC Hub in Chennai to define and execute the People Strategy, lead GCC build-up across India and regions like Egypt/Jordan, and drive HR transformation for a future-ready workforce. This role reports to GCC Head/Global CHRO and focuses on scaling operations in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop multi-year workforce plans for scale, skills, productivity, and optimization; drive talent strategies (buy/build/borrow).
- Lead HR for GCC setup/scaling in Chennai and other spokes, including leadership hiring, employer branding, and global transitions.
- Spearhead digital HR transformation: Implement HRMS (Workday/SuccessFactors/Oracle HCM), AI analytics, automation, and COE models (Talent/Rewards/Learning).
- Build leadership pipelines, transform performance/rewards, enhance employee experience/DEI, and ensure compliance with India laws.
- Champion change management for rapid growth, M&A, and tech adoption.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Mandatory: 20+ years HR leadership with proven track record in building/scaling GCCs specifically from EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) background.
- Expertise in India talent markets, People Strategy, HR transformation, HRMS/AI/shared services.
- BFSI/Tech/Consulting/Captive experience preferred; MBA/Masters in HR.
- Data-driven leader with stakeholder influence, execution rigor, and high EQ.

Deliver executed People Strategy enabling GCC maturity, digital HR efficiency, strong talent pipelines, and high engagement/retention.
Location: Chennai (with multi-location oversight)
